I'm part Otaku as well as furry, so forgive me... XD
My current top 10 favs are (picking 10 because otherwise well be here for awhile) 1.FLCL 2. Yu-Gi-Oh (the first series never relased in america & all the series released in america except GX and capsule [yeah, you may say pathetic, i say fun XD]) 3. Escaflowne (both movie and series) 4. Digimon 3rd series (yes, the one where they turned into animal-digimon things <3) 5. D.N. Angel (i like the manga better) 6. Club-to-Death Angel Dokuro-Chan (yes, i think psychopathic angels are funny) 7. Claymore 8. Ohuran Club 9. Naruto 10.Gundam (dont remeber which, i only saw snippits and parts, but i loved it so much) Hedgehogs <3's "Stop, Drop, Roll" Hedehog says recycle Ask me anything http://formspring.me/FehFeh1320 |

FehFeh13 Wrote:I'm part Otaku as well as furry, so forgive me... XD Alright, you like some good stuff. FLCL is my favorite OAV currently, and Samurai Champloo is my favorite full series (slightly before The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya), Evangelion nonwithstanding. I've liked Escaflowne and D.N.Angel for a while, though it's been a while since I've watched them. (And yes, I preferred the D.N.Angel manga as well.) My roommate introduced me to Ouran High School Host club, and it does spark the fancy of the yaoi fangirl inside me, as much as I try to repress her. I've heard of Dokuro-Chan, one of my friends recommended it to me after I expressed a liking for Elfen Lied. Another friend recommended Claymore, but said that he didn't like the story all that much. However, I'm not a big fan of Naruto after the Chunin exams, the series went sharply downhill. Shippuden is pretty good though, I'm keeping up to date. I absolutely hate Bleach, though. :3 ![]() Ham. |

LucienOG Wrote:FehFeh13 Wrote:I'm part Otaku as well as furry, so forgive me... XD ^_^ Thanks. Yeah, FLCL is great, especially since it was only meant to be a pilot series, but then was so well recieved they didnt drag out the story, but kept it condensed in 6 episodes. I love how that series makes me feel like after one episode that i've watched for hours but its only 30 min. ^_^ I like Samurai Champloo well enough... Its jut not a top 10 with me. I actually cosplayed Jin at Otakon 2007. It was quite fun. ^_^ If you would like to see heres some pics of me as jin http://fehfeh13.deviantart.com/art/Jin-Cosplay-60434681 Yeah, not perfect, but i was proud that i made that in a week. XD (everything by me except i didnt make the wig- though i styled it with some help, and the sandals- cause i stole those from my mom...) I have yet to see Evangelion, but one of my friends is apparantly tying me to a chair during the chrismas break and making me watch a marathon of it. I just think the Ouran club is cute ^_^ Honey-sempai is just adorable... Plus they all do really really stupid things constantly... makes me laugh Yeah, Claymore's story is dry, but i'm more into Doku, and claymore for the bloodshed. Doku- becasue its comical, and Claymore- because its based of combat. Yeah... kinda got a point... but i still like my nartuo stuff. :3 Yeah, bleach stinks after awhile... it just becomes repetitive slashing and hacking... no tact. At least with the hack and slash from claymore the battle scenes end differently every time.. yeesh... Be prepared to have your brain liquidated by the last few episodes of Evangelion. Also, watch the movie, Death and Rebirth. It's an alternate end to the series that will BLOW YOUR MIND.
Also, nice cosplay! I've never actually cosplayed myself, but I'm considering doing it for Otakon this year. I'm thinking either Mikami from Death Note, Jade Curtiss from Tales of the Abyss, or Squall from FFVIII, but that's really hard to pull off. We'll see. ![]() Ham. |

I saw one last year walking around with a Dist. It made me very happy. Squall isnt so bad, one of my friends was Squall last year too and he got about 50% of it from goodwill. The only thing he didnt have was the fluffy collar material. Awesome tho, tell me how it goes when it comes time! I have way to many favorites to really pick. Hum, off the top of my head, Ah My Goddess, Grave of the Fireflies, Tenchi Muyo, Outlaw Star, Samurai Champloo, Fruits Basket, Haruhi Suzumiya, Ouran, FMA, Trigun -- all some of my favorites. And of course, POKEMON ^_^!! o___o;; I'm n-not a fanboy..<steps>.>; >
But yah, currently I'm watching Mahou Shoujotai ( >.>; ), Somedays Dreamers and finishing Death Note. Quis hic locus? Quae regio? Quae mundis plaga? |

Let's see.... Lain, Haibane Renmei (tell me someone here knows of those two), - both are kind of slow, but still rather involved, and Lain is Very atmospheric... Besides those, I'd say .hack//SIGN, Trigun, Gundam Wing (the others don't count, except maybe 0800), Cowboy Bebob, Wolf's Rain, and of course, FLCL. Noein has my interest, but I don't know if I like it yet.
I'd also add Nausicca, but I only liked the manga, not the anime. Though being stuck on a 56kb connection at the moment, still - my viewing choices get limited. "Hm. I didn't even think that was flammable..." |

And yes, I've heard of Haibane Renmei, it's one of my favorite cult hits. The soundtrack to it is amazing, and the artbook blew my mind.

I'm currently watching Bokurano, which is a series about a group of fifteen kids chosen to pilot a giant robot that has to fight other robots to save the Earth. The catch is that every time they defeat another enemy, the kid piloting the robot dies. It's really horrific, especially later on. I'm really getting to warm up to this show.
