Furmeet Rules

So you want to come to a furmeet? Awesome! We ask that everyone who attends Furst State meets follow these rules, for the enjoyment of all who attend:

1. No money mooching. If we are planning a meet that costs money, bring some!

2. No ride mooching. If you need transportation, please plan for a ride to and from the meet before you arrive. Showing up and expecting someone to drive you home is not OK.

3. Be clean. Please, for the love of God, take a shower before you come to a meet. It's really sad that this has to be a rule. Brush your teeth, wash your hair and body with soap. If you show up smelly, you will be asked politely to leave.

4. Please no fursuiting inside restaurants, unless otherwise specified. Tails and ears are OK!

5. Leave your drama at the door. If you dislike someone who is going to be at a meet, either don't come, or leave that stuff at home. We hold furmeets so that we can have fun socializing with our friends. Fighting will not be tolerated.

6. The Furst State follows all Delaware State Laws in accordance to alcohol consumption at it's official events. If you are drinking underage or supplying underage drinkers at official Furst State events then you will be asked to leave the event and may be subject to administrator actions on The Furst State messageboards. Some alcohol consumption is OK (if you are over 21). Being falling-down-drunk is not. If you choose to drink during or before meets, please be responsible.

7. Most official events (those run by Admins and Moderators: ie bowling and diner) will have an RSVP page for you. You MUST RSVP to go. IF YOU DO NOT RSVP, YOU CAN NOT GO. This will turn all of our hairs white as we have to scramble around to make extra accommodations for someone who didn't take the time to read the rules.
