i'm working til 11pm saturday night so i'm a no go. hopefully after AC i will be getting a car with the moenies i have saved up so i will be able to go a little more often

Sadly no. We've been considering it, but with getting ready for AC and doing some work on my bathroom, it's just too much for this weekend. We'll be at the FurBowl though. If anyone else wants to host some festivities, please do so!

So~ May more may not show for this depending on how things are tomorrow, we've got a bunch of beach-goers using our place as base camp from what I understand, so this might throw a wrench in leaving. x.x
I've RSVP'd for my other half and I. We'll probably skip the eating thing and show for the bowling.
Didn't want to mark us as bowling through, because I'm not certain that we'll be there, but here's hoping. Really hoping to meet lots of you.

BTW: Is this a blacklight bowling thing or just normal lighting? I tend to do a lot of sketching and stuff at bowling meets and like to bring the blacklight reactive colors and paper for a bit of silliness. ^^

Live from Anthrocon 2010 it's the...

Furbowl 17 POST MEET REPORT

Furbowl 17 was a major success. 89 folks showed up for our June pre-Anthrocon event which was a big suprise! We were expecting a much smaller turnout due to the convention being a week away.

This Furbowl was extremely smooth, no major issues, problems, or stress. Maybe it was the bowling shoe smell, the convention being less than a week away, or maybe we're getting good at this, but I felt a very good vibe during the event, real chill.

I'm excited to see what July brings, when we don't have any major cons to go up against. :3 (Otakon doesn't count!)

I'll try to get the next announcement up ASAP, maybe even before the con is done.

The next DE Furbowl will be held on July 31! A reasonably good distance from here so y'all can let your furry batteries recharge a bit. :3

Also, a note on the group pictures. They're coming, hopefully when I get back from AC I can upload them.
