It doesn't seem we have enough commitment for everyone to pay the $13 in advance, so I'll just say we'll pay the $18 at the door. M'kay?

Ideally via PayPal. But I don't want to collect money unless I know for sure I have 15 people who will pay in advance. Don't wanna collect money only to have to go through the hassle of refunding it.

A note on the group rates:

In order to apply for the group rates I have to have the money for at least 15 tickets, and they have to be ordered by Friday the 30th to allow ample time for delivery or whatever. I have to buy them at least two weeks in advance.

Because of this, I'm going to set some deadlines.

July 18th: The date I check my list to see if we have at least 15 people willing to pay in advance. If no, we pay at the door. If yes...

July 23rd: The day I have to have everyone's $13 payment preferably sent via PayPal. If I have everyone's payment, I'll buy the tickets. If not, those who paid will be refunded and we'll pay at the door. THERE ARE NO IOUS; I DO NOT HAVE MONEY TO FRONT FOR YOUR TICKET

Are you going to break up the cost of parking and ad it to the individual ticket cost? Or how are you going to figure this out?

The cost of parking depends on who is riding with who. You pay for the parking at the lot, not at the zoo gate.

For example, parking for a car with five people is going to be cheaper than parking for a car with two.

I'm going to leave the responsibility of collecting parking money to the drivers. I will, however, make sure we have carpool assignments ahead of time (to ease any confusion).

I'm down. Only problem is I'll have to leave early to go to work at 3, so whoever rides with me has to choose between leaving early as well or squeezing in with the rest of you.

Are you able to pay in advance? Exactly what time would you have to leave, and how many people can your car hold?

We currently have 7 people who said they can pay for their group rate ticket in advance, meaning we need 8 more by the end of the week, otherwise we're paying the full rate at the door. =]
