RE: What's your species and why?
Mine is a Snow Leopard/Dragon hybrid. I have always loved big cats and snow plus living in the mountians so being a snow leopard just fits, plus the overall living style and personality of this big cat suits me as they tend to be loners and fend for themselves. I have also grown up loving dragons and fantasy always dreaming about flying so to mix the 2 i can have the best of both worlds.

Where's me Meat!! O.o

RE: What's your species and why?
I've been a few different species. When I had my pet rats though I got really caught up in their personalities and little quirks and thought...wow they're very much me. So ya know, if you ever want to know what it's like to have you're very own pockets, just buy a rat. It's pretty annoying...but ya know the fur on their paws remind me of ninjas for some reason so I forgive them.

You know what? I'm just gonna put dirt in my ears. Ow... That's better. I can't hear you now, but keep talking. Fox confused

RE: What's your species and why?
lets see let me narrow this down to just my main ones

Sonar (leaf-nosed fruit bat) - i have always had an affinity for bats and i liked fruit so a fruit bat just seemed the appropriate choice

Spirit (silver wolf) - wolves have that pack nature and i cling to that. same goes for bats as they live in colonies

Cowbit - um i had an issue with the utters on female cows so when i through a rabbit in the mix i killed that issue

Jahara (winged shadow tiger) - everything that i am not. strong confident and able to do anything she pleases. Just like tigers should be. and everything i wish i could be

RE: What's your species and why?
Wolves and owls are my totem/spirit animals. But I don't particularly like flying, so I kind of melded into the wolf fursona which has since then grown into a wolf and Labrador retriever hybrid because of my love of the breed.

I do tend to write about owls though in my stories...I just don't identify as much with them.

RE: What's your species and why?
I'm a Cougar, because I loooove cats, and I wanted to be a little different. My high school's mascot was the Cougar, and during my high school days I fell in love with the beautiful animal - even did a report on Cougars for my science class senior year - and when I discovered the fandom, it was the first and only thing I could think of when I finally sat down to REALLY think about what I should be.

RE: What's your species and why?
Well, back when I was about 12, I got REALLY into Werewolf: the Apocalypse. I considered myself a wolf for awhile, even before I found out about furries. Then, when the Hengeyokai book came out, with rules for Kitsune, I decided I liked those better and switched to that. Me and a friend were doing a comic with ourselves as characters at the time, and my character went from wolf to Kitsune with 5 tails to having nine as we kept making comics, by the time I found out about the fandom that's what I was going with, a Red fox Kyuubi.

RE: What's your species and why?
I figured my love of horses, unicorns and Pegasus' and mermaids from a very young age would be a good combination of my personality. I found out the furry community from meeting a furry and going from there. So once I pin pointed my fursona my gaming name is my furry name. Prismara! Prism meaning colorful, and ara meaning light. I have been named Prismara for quite some time now, and consider myself original and creative. I have always loved furry animals and cats as well, and have several cat tails, so once in awhile I'll have that catlike playfulness, but I stick true to my equine-ness character. Maybe one day I'll have a suit soon, ideas are brewing around on paper, and in thought. Can't wait to hear more fursona stories!

RE: What's your species and why?
After alot of fursona jumping I chose a hedgehog. Hedgehogs are cute little animals that love warm climates (and technically only exist in them), are very active when they chose to be, are spiny and a little stand off-ish. That is I in a nutshell. I see myself as a active/hard worker, who has problems attaching to people but if I am around them long enough I grow to like them... normally. I also love warm climates an often get depressed in the winters due to chilliness. I also chose the hedgehog due to its rather odd disposition- which i know i have at least in my regular life. And Hedgehogs are often mistaken for porcupines; I'm often mistaken for many things I am not.

RE: What's your species and why?
I've always had an affinity for cats, and have always been around them (my family cares for a feral cat colony). When I was younger, I used to act like a cat. Up until the age of sixteen I went up the stairs in my house on all fours! I feel more intune with cats than any other animal. My personality can be hard to pin down, but I feel it's also very cat-like, at least most of the time, based on the cats I have had in my life.

One of my fursonas takes a little from Japanese myth. I love Japanese culture and would love to travel to, maybe even live there, someday. The fursona is a nekomata, but instead of two tails, I normally depict her with three.

RE: What's your species and why?
My 'sona is a wolf. When I was younger, I always read about wolves. And not that typical "Little Red Riding Hood" stupidity that everyone hears when they're a kid. I'm talking about books on wolf recovery, and books like the "Wolf Almanac" which goes into great detail about the Grey Wolf species, and several subspecies, their social behaviors, hunting habits, you name it. I have always loved the sound of wolves howling. And I have even had the opportunity to howl to some rescued wolves and I got a response back! :3 There's just something exhilarating about that sound. Not to mention the fact that they're beautiful creatures. So there you have it. My reasoning for Echo's species. ^^

RE: What's your species and why?
I'm a Stray Cat.....also known as a Brian Setzer Orchestra
But I could be a Def Leppard at sometimes, and an Iron Butterfly at others
my girlfriend asked me what kind of animal I think I would be, I just said
"I'm a tiger when I want love, but I'm a snake if we disagree"

I can't draw, but I'm trying to learn, so until further notice, my fursona is Burt Reynolds

[Fonzie]Aaaaaayyyyyyy[/Fonz], I finally got an FA Account

You can hound me now you've found me
But I'm far more cunning than you
I'm a shy fox, I'm a sly fox
And I'll teach you a lesson or two

RE: What's your species and why?
Vancouver Island Marmot. I look, and act, like a groundhog. However, the VI marmot has unique coloring, and a bushier tail than most marmot species. Its also larger, has more vocal calls, and is the rarest species.

Marmots also carry plague. They look adorable, but one marmot can wipe out a nation.

My character started out her life as a Felis chaus, and has spent a few lifetimes as various species.

Athenisis...just call me Thea....
