I will of course post up the more detailed information about a month before that day actually comes. There are two breaks this year, one in June because of Anthrocon, and one in November because of MFF and Thanksgiving. Also this year I've put more emphasis on dodging conventions, however Furbowl will intersect with Furry Fiesta this year. We should miss FurFright even though they haven't announced a date as of this posting. I will of course post up the more detailed information about a month before that day actually comes. There are two breaks this year, one in June because of Anthrocon, and one in December because of Christmas. Also this year I've tried to miss the major local cons, however Furbowl will intersect with Megaplex, Otakon, and Furry Fiesta. Sorry if you're wanting to go to both but it's the best we can do! ________________________________________ Delaware Furbowl FAQ: I signed up but can't make it! If you've signed up but have to cancel for whatever reason you can cancel through the e-mail Surple sends you when you sign up. If you can't find that e-mail you can private message me Can I just come to just hang out? Sure you can come to just hang out! Some of our folks come just to socialize! Be prepared for me to hound on you a bit to try to convince you to bowl. :3 Do I need to spend any money? Nobody is going to fault you for pinching your pennies however, buying a soda at the restaurant, or some food from the bowling alley, goes a long way in ensuring they enjoy hosting our group. How much should I bring for everything? Expect to spend about $30 for both events. Is there a bar? There is a bar at the bowling alley where alcohol can be purchased. Please drink responsibly. It's one thing to be slightly buzzed. It's another to be trashed. Also, don't forget to pay your bar tab! :3 Can I wear my fursuit? Fursuits at the bowling lanes are all groovy and cool! However do not suit to the restaurant. For practicalities sake as well as good will with the restaurant. Tails/ears however are encouraged. Just remember that it's on a Saturday and will more than likely be a bit crowded with non-fur folk. Whats this I hear about a Group Picture? Around 11:00PM or so I'll gather everyone together so we can get a nifty group shot! ________________________________________ These are the Delaware Furbowl Standards of Conduct Rules, you agree to these rules when attending any Delaware Furbowl event. Delaware Furbowl Standards of Conduct The Delaware Furbowl is a monthly event sponsored by The Furst State that celebrates the furry fans of the Delaware region and tri-state area in bowling and socializing activities. It is a relaxed atmosphere that tries to focus on a fun and memorable evening. To ensure this there has been created a Standards of Conduct for all attendees of the Delaware Furbowl. Anyone in attendance of a Delaware Furbowl hereby agrees to these policies. These rules apply to all aspects of the Delaware Furbowl. If you have any questions regarding these policies you can e-mail the organizer Kitt3ns at this address: LoneM855@gmail.com Delaware Furbowl reserves the right to amend these rules at any time without prior or posted notice and reserves the sole right of interpretation. In any dispute, the general rule above will apply. General Rule: The Delaware Furbowl Organizers retain the right to remove and/or restrict persons or groups who cause interference or incidents with Delaware Furbowl activities, venues, or guests. The Delaware Furbowl is a privately run event and reserves the right to refuse admission to any individual for any reason. Safety and fun of attendees, guests, and vendors is our number one concern during the events. In addition it is expected that you abide by any and all rules and regulations that the vendors may have for their establishment. Public Behavior: While at the Delaware Furbowl you are expected to remain and act in a civil manner. Rough-housing, overly affectionate public displays of affection, obscene swearing, or loud destructive behavior are restricted. Harassment, stalking, or unwanted contact will be met with a "one-strike" or zero-tolerance policy, "No" means "No" always. Please be courteous to other attendees, vendor staff, and non-Furbowl guests at all times. Also remember that we are in a public setting. These events are family friendly affairs and oftentimes this is people's first exposure to furry at large. Remember that we need to present "those people who dress up like animals" in as positive a light as possible. We're the ambassadors of the furry fandom for the people we encounter. Hygiene: It is assumed that you will posses a good sense of hygiene while at the Delaware Furbowl. If you are bearing a noticeable offensive odor, you will be asked to rectify it or possibly be removed from the event. It is encouraged that attendees take a shower before coming to the Delaware Furbowl. Fursuiters will be given a little bit of lee-way when it comes to this rule after de-suiting based on the Organizers' judgment. Fursuits: Fursuits are restricted at the dinner portion of the event for health, safety, and practicality reasons. Fursuits at the bowling alley are allowed. Bowling shoes must be worn at all times if a suiter is bowling however. If you have substitute feetpads that act as bowling shoes they must have been cleared with the bowling front desk before bowling. If you plan on leaving our area to wander around in suit, it is highly recommended that you have a handler ready. And keep in mind the feelings of the other patrons and respect your boundaries. Alcohol: Alcoholic consumption should be kept within moderation and may only be consumed by adults over 21. Buying alcohol for minors is strictly forbidden by Delaware Furbowl rules and Delaware State Law. If you are found out to be supplying alcohol to a minor we will be obligated to contact the police. If you are approached by a minor to acquire alcohol for them then say "No" and report it to an organizer. Alcohol from outside the alley is not allowed within the premises. Also alcohol from the bowling alley bar can not be taken outside the alley. If someone becomes too intoxicated they will be asked to leave the event pre-maturely and be given issued a warning. Weapons: Weapons of any sort are restricted from all Furbowl events. If you are seen with any type of weapon you will be asked to please remove it from the premises of the event immediately and possibly be asked to leave the Furbowl pre-maturely. If it is found out you are concealing a weapon you will be restricted from the Delaware Furbowl. This also extends to gas-powered weapons such as airsoft guns, paintball guns, etc. A good general rule of thumb, if it requires body protection to use it, please don't bring it. Dress Code: Tails, ears, collars, and other furry accessories are allowed at all portions of the Delaware Furbowl events. The only exception to this are leashes which will be asked to be removed if seen. Also, no fetish, BDSM, or extremely revealing clothing will be permitted at the Delaware Furbowl and if you have such gear or clothing on you will be asked to remove it and change to something that fits within Furbowl rules. Artist Table: The Furbowl Artist Table is for artists to have a place to comfortably create and even sell art. There is no guarantee on whether you will have a spot at the table. The table will be a first-come first serve. Artists must keep any sort of displays or advertising minimal due to the high-traffic nature of the area the table resides in. All commissions are deals brokered between artist and commissioner and will be treated as such. Furst State will not regulate or be held responsible for unhonored deals between artist and commissioner. If an artist gains a reputation for not honoring their deals Furst State reserves the right to restrict the artist from doing business at the event. Respect of Property: During the events please respect the property of the vendors we attend. This means no climbing on, damaging, etc of the equipment of the vendors. It is expected you not litter at the vendors and clean up after yourselves during and after the event. If an attendee does damage vendor property they will be held responsible for cost of repairs and any applicable fines. Minors and Parental Consent: In the case of minors above the age of 13, it will be assumed that any parents or legal guardians have granted permission for their attendance and the Delaware Furbowl, The Furst State, and the current vendor will not assume responsibility for their actions or conduct. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult at all times while at the Delaware Furbowl. Release of Liability for Personal Injury: Delaware Furbowl, The Furst State, and the vendors will not be responsible for any personal injury due to negligence of bowling alley rules, or rough-housing during the events. In addition any costumers must relieve the bowling alley of any responsibility when it comes to personal injury relating to or dealing with costumes and/or masks. However if such an event does occur we will do our best to provide aid until proper action can be taken. Release of Liability for Personal Belongings: All attendees will take responsibility for thier own belongings. Delaware Furbowl, The Furst State, and the vendors will not be responsible for missing or damaged items. |
